Cement, the main ingredient of concrete, is responsible for approximately 7% of global man-made greenhouse emissions, making it the world's second-largest industrial source of carbon dioxide. To tackle this challenge, CarbonCure Technologies developed and commercialized a scalable technology that utilizes post-industrial carbon dioxide to increase the strength of concrete, allowing for less cement in concrete mixes.
