Use innovative technology
with AquAero

Description

AquAero is a spin-off company of the University for Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland founded 2014. The start-up is part of the Institute for Thermal and Fluid Engineering. A prototype for hydro char drying will be built shortly in 2020. After a development period of six years with two running lab test rigs along (2017, 2019) a pure steam drying technology was developed that originally was intended for water harvesting from the air and dehumidification. Lately, after operational reliability the technology is found to fit best for material drying. The technology stands out by its high energy efficiency which is up to three times higher than for common hot air drying.
