What are we looking for?

Our climate tech start-up located at the heart of Brussels is looking for a marketing trainee. An SEO geek and natural storyteller.Our ideal candidate is a curious, skilled and motivated junior marketer that's willing to collaborate in a learning-by-doing environment. Your mission will be to generate loads of MQL by launching organic/paid campaigns to leverage Tapio's value proposition, and you will be working closely with our CEO as part of our Marketing Roadmap for 2022.

What you'll do, in a few words ↓

The Sales & Marketing department will grow as you do, and creating valuable content that drives MQLs will be your responsibility. You'll work directly with our Head of Sales on the following missions:

• Know by heart Tapio's structure as a whole, making the best out of it
• Understand the competitive landscape of the market of carbon management
• Take ownership of our current lead generation process, and help improve it
• Collaborate with Tapio's product and service team to improve your pitch
• Create and execute marketing campaigns to raise brand awareness
• Monitor and pivot digital marketing campaigns focused on monthly KPIs
• Support the sales team in MQL generation to improve ROI
• Build positive a relationship with our audience by interacting with customers and potential prospects

Preferred experience

Build your resume in a purpose-driven environment.

• Good knowledge of B2B marketing and SEO optimisation
• Organized – you're a natural multi-task planner
• Strong communication & research skills, with an emphasis on targeting B2B audiences
• Capability to produce frequent, high-quality content with attention to detail
• Ability to use Grammarly, Canva & Hootsuite
• Excellent communication skills in English and French (both written and verbal)
• Experience in Marketing required, minimum 6 months (personal or professional project) 

Nice to have ↓

• Affinity with green/climate-tech, carbon accountability
• A collaborative approach, ready to contribute to a start-up environment
• Google Ads and LinkedIn Ads experience is a plus
• Knowledge of inbound marketing and marketing-driven sales strategies is another plus
• Affinity with tools like Odoo, Notion, Slack, ...
• Dutch communication skills. Bonus points for any other languages you know!
