What are we looking for?

Are you a fantastic business dev looking to tackle climate change during working hours?

We are a climate tech start-up located in the heart of Brussels looking for a clever and creative Junior Sales to reinforce our Sales Team.

Tapio’s Sales team is growing fast and our strategic initiatives, business operations and revenue management continue to evolve as we do. You’ll be supervised and trained by our CEO, and after having discovered our carbon strategy platform and met your teammates, you’ll work on the following missions:

  • Develop incoming sales opportunities
  • Identify and reach out to new opportunities
  • Collaborate with our marketing team to feed the sales pipeline based on your operational feedback
  • Create and implement sales strategy to identify new market segments
  • Develop relationships with targetted accounts
  • Drive sales opportunities through the early stages of the sales process by regularly communicating with clients, sending appropriate content
  • Call prospects to make sure they understand how we can bring them value
  • Develop a sustainable network growing your climate transition expertise 
  • Continuously monitor the customer acquisition funnel
  • Participate in the contracting process from the early stages to climate experts handover

Preferred experience

We are looking for 

Aware and sensitive to climate issues, motivation, proactivity, creativity, rigour, ownership and tech-enthusiast. We are looking for someone eager to learn more, autonomous and able to take initiatives.

  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in business development;
  • Excellent knowledge of French, English and Dutch;
  • Bachelor’s degree or above;
  • Proven track record of working with rapidly changing deadlines and having an ability to move in a fast-paced environment;
  • Strong team player with a history of working well across organizations, plus if experience with stakeholders as Director and C-level executives;
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, as well as organizational skills;
  • Ability to influence and negotiate with others;
  • Commercial awareness;
  • Ability to think creatively and strategically.
