Who are we?

Tapio is a fast-growing start-up headquartered in Brussels. Our mission is to help companies transition to a low carbon economy. We've developed a carbon management software that provides companies with the toolbox they need to understand and act on their carbon emissions.

What are we looking for?

Your responsibilities

You will assist a team responsible for the development and overall management of consulting and product:

Consulting

• Carbon report calculation (based on GhG protocol)
• Corporate supply chains risks
• Climate targets - emission reductions - SBTi
• Low carbon ecosystem creation

Product

• Product methodology and framework 
• Customers needs and feedbacks
• Prototype testing
• Strategic developments 
  
• Databases creation

Preferred experience

You are

• University degree (or in a process of obtaining this), ideally at a Master’s level or higher, in a sustainability-related discipline
• Excellent writing skills, with expertise creating and reviewing high-quality proposals
• Strong interest in solutions to the environmental and climate crisis
• Experience in project management and habit of working in a team 
• Fluent in English

Nice to have

• Familiar with the processes of calculating and reducing greenhouse gas emissions: carbon report (GhG protocol), Lyfe Cycle Assessment (Simapro or other), SBTs, ... 
• Experience in sustainability consulting with large international corporate clients, or extensive experience working as a Sustainability Manager for large multinational corporates
• Affinity sustainability and green-tech
• Data-oriented mindset
